As we reflect on 2025, we are deeply aware of how much there is to be thankful for. It has been a year marked by growth, resilience, and moments of real connection across our community. Through challenges and victories alike, we have seen the value of walking alongside one another, supporting families, leaders, and services, and creating spaces where people feel seen and supported. None of this happens in isolation, and we are genuinely grateful for every person who has played a part in strengthening our community this year.

It is also a timely reminder that thankfulness is not reserved for easy seasons or perfect circumstances. We are called to be grateful for what we have, even when life feels uncertain or unfinished. Gratitude grounds us, reshapes our perspective, and helps us recognise God’s faithfulness in both abundance and lack. When we choose thankfulness in every situation, we open our hearts to hope, humility, and trust, knowing that nothing we have is accidental and nothing we walk through is unseen.

This year has so much in store for the Exodus family and friends, and the momentum is only building. We are excited to be moving into our new office before Easter, marking a significant new chapter for our team and the community we serve. We also have a gala on the horizon that promises a night of celebration, meaningful connection, and time together with loved ones. In addition, we are planning a counselling and psychology networking symposium that will bring local councillors, social workers, doctors, and psychologists together as one community, strengthening collaboration and shared care. We will also be returning to our much loved Happy Farm for another special event, so stay tuned for more details on everything that is coming up.

Grounded Women's Group
Grounded is a nurturing community dedicated to the education, empowerment, and support of women of all ages and backgrounds in all aspects of their lives.
At Grounded, we envision a world where every woman has the opportunity and resources to reach her full potential.
Our activities include monthly meetings that provide a safe space for women to discuss challenges and share solutions, self-development workshops and retreats.
Early Childhood – Confidence in Care was a standout event for the Exodus community, held on Friday 14 November at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Over a vibrant corporate lunch, childcare owners, educators, and sector leaders came together to explore The Future of Early Learning in Australia in an atmosphere of optimism, collaboration, and shared purpose. Guests were inspired by an exceptional panel featuring Georgie Dent, CEO of The Parenthood, Australia’s leading parent advocacy organisation; Sarah Mitchell, Shadow Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning; and Abby Revel, leader of the Christian Early Learning Advocacy and Professional Development Group, who each shared powerful insights into rebuilding trust, strengthening leadership, and supporting families and children across the sector.
